I kept this card pretty simple as I didn't want to take anything from this image.
The image was coloured with copics and the stars are a Magnolia stamp which
I stamped with red, blue and veramark and then embossed.
The paper is forever friends -best of British paper pack.
The sentiment stamp is also by Magnoila, I also used some ribbon
and buttons.
Please pop by the fab Dt ladies blog to see what fabulous creations

Sorry no card but some good news

Good morning, I hope everyone is well .I'm am so sorry my
blog as been neglected (again) but I've have had some
major problems with my children's school and this as resulted
in having to take my children out of the school due to the lack of support
and attitude of the school. I have been deeply upset by this as I was very
passionate once about the school and helped raise several thousands of
pounds for them in applying from grants and fund raising etc.

Any way enough of my moaning I have some excellent news, The
Lovely Laura has invited me to be part of her design team for
a fantastic new challenge songbirds challenge blog.
I am very happy and honoured to be part of this fabulous team.

Thanks for stop by my blog and hopefully I will be back soon with
a card to blog.

Anything goes challenge -Travel or around the world

Good morning this fortnight theme at anything thing goes challenge
is travel or around the world.
For my project I used Traveling Tilda available from
the lovely Lynn at Craft Den.

                                                                    side view

Instead of a card I thought I'd make this suitcase ,I really enjoyed making this project.
Tilda and the suitcases are coloured with copics and prisma pencils , but her skin
is coloured with promarkers.
The post card and tickets are whimsy stamps ,travel and journey stamps are from
lily of the valley and the flower , leaves and swirl are Doohickey dies.
Please pop over to the DT ladies blogs to see what fabulous creations they've
come up with for this challenge.
Thank you very much for visiting my blog

Crafty boots challenge - Material

Good morning and welcome to another Crafty Boots Challenge
the theme for this fortnights challenge is material which was chosen by the
lovely Tracie.
I don't know where the time is going, but apart from my DT
projects I haven't done any crafting.
For This card I used Tilda with ballet shoe ( I really love her )
also for this card I have gone for a clean and fresh look , this was
a shock to my system and I really don't know how it stayed like
this as I usually end up flooding the image with colour but
I am pleased with the little amount of colour I used.

                                                            Close up of image

Close up of the felt flowers

I was a bit stuck on what material I could use so I went for felt flowers
which are cut using spellbinders - posy patch dies ,and I sat the large flower
on some tulle and then added a button to the centre of them.
The papers are Maja Designs - summer breeze ,love these papers and
was almost in tears using it lol.
The image is coloured with copics and prisma pencils ( even the skin)
another shock to my system lol.
Other items I used are - Martha Stewart punch
                                       Doohickey die
                                       charm, pearls and pins
                                       Doohickey  tag
                                       Seam binding ribbon
                                       Spellbinders oval dies
                                       Sewing machine
                                       mirri card
I hope you can join in with this fun challenge and please pop
over to the fab DT ladies to see what Gorgeous creations they have come
up with.
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by my blog.
