and now for my crafty boots christmas project

The image is a digi stamp from Cuddly Buddly and I coloured it use pro markers

the 'when santa got stuck up a chimney' stamp is a CLARITY stamp,

I had to get this as I thought it is brilliant for childrens cards

I made a large paper rosette out of paper I had in my stash

the snowflakes are cut using a snowflake die from spellbinders,

the  backing paper is also from cuddly buddly, I also glazed the star 

and glittered the snow but its hard to see as I'm not that good at taking photos lol.

I hope to be doing lots of crafting soon as I only have to do my food shopping

then I'm finally finished christmas shopping , yippee ,so hopefully 

I'll have more cards/projects to blog soon

Christmas cards

some christmas cards I have made over the last few week
the first one is Stampavie holly jolly coloured in using
copic the second card is Stampavie polar present
coloured in using promarkers,the third card is Stampavie
purrfect christmas coloured in using promarkers and last
but not least is Magnolia sweet christmas dreams ,I really enjoyed
making the holly jolly card as the colours are quite bright
and different from the colours we tend to use this time of year
I have been picking my papers first and then taking the colours
from there which I used to do the other way around,but I'm finding
this way better as I am now using colours I would not normally use

This is my Dt card for crafty Boots Fantasy challenge ,not my usual
colours and I don't do boys cards much either but really enjoyed
doing this card and he is such a sweet Dragon too.
I used copics to colour this image and the paper is My minds eye
I cut the circles with my new found tool EK success circle scissor pro
what a fab tool ,thought I didn't need one but so glad I bought it
I also dashed the edges of the card (love doing this too)I've got a
few more cards made but need to upload them (will do this soon)

My sweet lily

This is my DT card for Crafty boots Young at heart challenge
I used Sarah kay my sweet Lily stamp,I paper pieced her dress
and the bow in her hair,the rest was coloured in using promarkers
The paper I used is catlin by crate paper I have had this in my
stash for quite a while now ,I also made the roses with the same
paper.

This is my DT card for crafty boots Autumn challenge

I fell in love with this stamp when I seen it on a blog ,then I stummbled across it a

few week ago on crafts u love website,I coloured this image using pro markers and flexmarkers

the paper is from sir stampalot and the leaves is a Sheena Douglas stamp,the

buttons are made using a woodware punch and  'autumn wishes' is a magnolia

Not my ususal colours but enjoyed making

this notebook,I used little foxes gorjuss stamp,ribbon from my stash the paper is from

woodlands folks a5 paper pad and the flowers are from my stash ,the image was

again coloured with prismacolor pencils

card I thought I'd make one with chocolates and some drinking chocolate

I've used Tilda as angel stamp,coloured in with prismacolor pencils

I covered the flowers with twinklets  and paper is from a polka doodles cd

Feeling under the weather

as it's rather cold here today ,I thought I'd have a go at making
a get well pack, I was pleased  how easy this was to make
I used promarker to colour and the backing paper is from
a polka doodles cd and not forgetting Tilda

Sorry for yet another magnolia card but they
seem to be my favourite at the moment. No

disasters making this one thankfully, again I've
coloured the image using prismacolor pencils,
I made the paper flower out of paper from
my stash ,the backing paper I had scraps
left over from last year so I thought I'd
put the to good use

Tilda - Santa's little helper

I thought this card would never get finished ,it was doomed from the start.
First I dropped a black pencil on Tilda's face ,so I started again ,then
I tipped half a bottle of sansodor over my finished Tilda,so as they
say 3rd time lucky!!
I coloured this image in using my new found favourites
prismacolor pencils blended with sansodor(lucky I had some left)
paper from my stash ,Martha Stewart punch and some flowers from my stash

I've used the same image for both of these cards ,but in different colours
I do love this image
I've coloured them in using prismacolor pencils which I most say I LOVE
think these maybe my favourite way to colour ,they are so easy to use

Magnolia sweet bag

Back to my all time favourite stamps, I made this back using
backing paper from a polka doodles cd, copics for colouring in
Tilda, ribbon and twine ,paper flowers and labels 17. I love
making bags and boxes as much as cards

yesterday was the launch of crafty boots challenge blog

these were the note books I made,I used  a magnolia stamp (I keep going back to these stamps)and copics to colour, ribbon ,some paper I found in my stash, 'just a little note' stamp from polka doodles stamp set ,paper flowers and some gems

This note book I used gorjuss owl stamp

and promarkers to colour,buttons and my minds eye paper

to make the book mark I used a large paper clip

and the small owl from the gorjuss stamp set

christmas house mouse

Loved this image as decoupage so had to get the stamp.

Coloured using caramel, sandstone,khaki pastel beige,warm grey 2,warm grey 3,blush, dusky pink,

almond,olive green,marsh green and gold promarkers and R27 copic ciao,backing papers are from a

digi paper pack and the flowers are made using marianne design mini poinsettia die. Emma xx

Another digi image ,I thought this image was so cute and sweet.
To create this card I used flex markers for the sky and  for toby's
body and t shirt and the rest was coloured in with pro markers,
the backing paper is from polka doodles wonderland cd,
I used labels 1 nesties and a marianne design flower and swirl
and the sentiment is a magnolia stamp.xx Emma

Toby Tumble

After a conversation with some lovely ladies on twitter
I decided to give digi images a go.While looking for some
images I came across this cute little
bunny and fell in love with him,to colour I
used pro markers and flex markers and
backing paper from a polka doodles
cd.As much as I love stamping I can now
say I’m totally converted to digi images,would like to thank
them all for they’re help and advice xx Emma

My friend asked me to make her daughter a card using this image,was a bit of a shock to my system as I usually use paler pinks in my cards,but really enjoyed making this card and really love these stamps will have to use them a bit more often .Emma xx

Hello again,another one of my phases Tatty Button this time.I used promarkers to colour and paper from my stash ,to make the flower I used red felt and a blossom shape nestie and sat it on some black tulle,I really enjoyed making this card especially the flower

I was asked to make this card as a thank you to a school

in my area as they donated loads of plants for us to sell at
our school summer fate.The sun flowers i bought of them are
over six feet tall now.

and one of them is house mouse,I love these little mice now
but they took a while to grow on me

A Quick card

Yay finally got my blinkie working,

a quick and easy card,just nesties,a little stamping
and a handmade paper flower,my daughter also
loves making these flowers.

another acetate front card forgot to take pic of the inside as the back of the hippo is there,I had to have the paper boutique 3 just for this image as I fell in love with it,Hope I'm not boring everyone too much

something different

Had this stamp set for christmas and this is the only card I made
with them,will have to dig them back out , the front off the card
is acetate and paper  I had in my stash for forever,will have to
improve on my photographic skills(or lack of in my case)I think.
