DT cards

Hello I'm going to combine these two post again ,sorry if the post
is long .I'll try and keep it short. This post is scheduled so I do hope
it goes up on time.

Over at Songbird Challenges this fortnight our theme is Defying gravity
so we would like to see your creations with something that can fly.

Our sponsors this fortnight are Di's digis.

For my card I used Whimsy silver fairy ( I love this fairy ).
The papers are one moment in time -scrap cake I've had these
a while . I had other papers in mind for this card ,but it was one
of those cards that didn't go to plan and these papers looked so
much better but I didn't like opening the pack ,Ah well  a good excuse
to by another pack lol.
The flowers are from wild orchid crafts (Another stash I just like to
look at and not use hehe.)
The butterfly and heart swirl branch are Magnolia Doohickey dies's
and I love these dies.
All the papers have been matted and layered on to kraft card and
machine stitched (please don't look to close my machine was
having a funny five and there are some slip stitches :(

Please pop over to lovely DT ladies blogs to see their gorgeous
creations for this fab challenge.

Aah deep breathes ... and on to the second challenge
Over at Crafty Boots this fortnight our challenge is  Stories
e.g Fairy tales , nursery rhymes.
I went for The princess and the frog.

The image I used was Fairy tale Tilda .Even tho she's not my favourite Tilda
of all Time I do love her and she has to be my most used Tilda.
The papers are Echo Park . My aim for this card was to be pink and yellow
but as you can see the pink took over again lol at least her dress is yellow.
The flowers are made by using spellbinders posy patch dies which I cut into
to make them a little different.

I hope you can pop over to see the fab creations the lovely
Dt ladies have come up with for this fun challenge.

I'm sorry if I don't get around to commenting on your fabulous blogs
this week , but we are away in Cornwall for a week.
I will miss seeing your beautiful creation and will try my best

Thanks for stopping by today
Big Hugs Emma xx

Hi Emma

Two fabulous DT cards. I love your fairy, she is so pretty and beautifully coloured.

You could have also used her for your Crafty Boots Challenges DT card, but I am so pleased you didn't, because I love the princess and the frog story and your card is just perfect.
