Tweet Tweet

Good Evening I hope every one is well and after my long
post this morning I will keep this one short.
The theme for this fortnights challenge at Crafty Boots Challenges
Is Tweet Tweet which was chosen by the lovely Amy who has recently
had a beautiful baby boy .

I wasn't looking forward to this challenge at all as I really really don't
like birds ( some silly superstition my Gransha had about birds in the house
and it seemed to stick and Got to the point where I really don't like them
apart for the exception of owls... Strange I know lol).

I was delighted when I came across this gorgeous image as the bird is so small lol
but there still a bird on my card ( Hope this is ok Amy ).
The image is a Whimsy stamp- Li'l tweeter ( I forgot how much I love these
stamps and must get my  uninked ones out ..Oh the shame lol.
The image is coloured with Copics , Promarkers and Prisma pencils.

Other things I used
Magnolia Doohickey doily flower and hellebores flower dies
Whimsy corner dies
My minds eye and maja design papers
Magnolia sentiment stamp
Lace, seam binding ribbon, pearls, pins and a charm

Please pop over to see what fab creation the Dt ladies have come up with for this challenge.

Thank you very much for stopping by my blog today

Summer Days _ anything goes challenge

Good morning I'm scheduling this post so I hope it goes up at the
right time .
This fortnight at Anything goes challenge is Summer Days and after
the dreadful weather we've had here over the past week I think we're
all longing for some Summer Days.

For this card I used Tilda in Key Largo and Ocean background scene, my minds
eye papers, Doohickey cloud and doily flower dies, some kraft card, stickles ,
and I made a little pin wheel.
This image is coloured with Copics and prisma pencils.
I really enjoyed working with this bright colours and while I was
colouring this scene it made me wish I was by the sea.

The DT ladies have come up with some gorgeous creations as always,
so please have a peek at their blogs .
And not forgetting to mention the lovely Lynne at Craft Den for all
your crafty Goodies.

Songbird challenge

Good Morning This week is a start of a brand new challenge blog
Songbird challenges.
I was so pleased when Laura invited me to be part of her Design team.
This weeks challenge is Anything goes and our sponsor for this fortnight
is Meljen's Designs ( there is a sale on over at they're website until 15th August)
The image i used for this card is Patriotic bear, I love teddy bears with a passion
but never tend to use them because when I colour them they never seem
to turn out right , but after seeing this cute bear I had to give it a go.

I coloured this image using Copics and prisma pencils (E44,E43,E42,E4o
and dark umber pencil for the bear ).
The papers are my minds eye ,I also used some wooden buttons ,and a few
punches, kraft card and walnut seam binding ribbon.

I hope you can join us in this exciting new challenge and please pop
over to the fab DT ladies blogs as their creations are gorgeous.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today
